Plain and simple, credit unions, such as WRCU, are nonprofit organizations, whereas banks are for-profit. Credit unions are member-owned, giving members a say in how things are run. At WRCU, our members elect a volunteer board of directors to represent the membership by setting strategic direction for the credit union.

If you’re out of the area and need an ATM, you can use most ATMs from other financial institutions. Just remember that there might be a fee for using these ATMs. Safe travels!

How do I apply for a WRCU VISA credit card?
Applying for a WRCU VISA credit card is easy. Just head over to our 24/7 loan application page to get started or book an appointment.
What should I do if my credit card is lost or stolen?
If your credit card is lost or stolen, call us at (360) 825-4833 ext. 6. Choose option 2 during business hours or option 4 after hours. You can also freeze your card using our MyCardRules App.

At what age can my child open a kid’s account?
Kids aged 0-12 can open a Rocky Raccoon Kid’s Account at White River Credit Union. Start them young with smart saving habits.
What happens to the kid’s account when my child turns 13?
When your child turns 13, their kid’s account will be converted to a Teen Account, giving them access to all the features and benefits of a Teen Account. We’ll help guide them through the process!
What happens to the Teens account when my child turns 18?
When your child turns 18, their account will be converted to a regular account, giving them access to all the features and benefits of an adult account. We’ll help guide them through the process!
